The Batch-Store v.1.0 | By Gls: What a Great Day! Not because, I'm going to post one of the best work of my life. Just because - Today I've completed - The Main goal of Converting Batch / CMD From CUI to GUI. And, The Batch-Store v.1.0 | By Gls is a great batch application - with pure GUI interface. If You are not a Programmer / Developer - then, there is very slight chance that you can recognize. That, The Batch-Store is Working inside the CMD Console. You can simply Download Batch-Store.  I've provided the Executable version of the batch Store. So, You can Simply Download Batch Plugins via double clicking on the Store.

So, As you can See in the thumbnail image. That the store has a great Graphical Data on the Cmd Console. This is all possible because of the amazing InsertBmp Batch Plugin. Which allows you to Print graphical images on CMD console. Also, You can easily Download Batch-Store Exe file from the link we've provided. The Batch Store Plugins are the main source of its neat and Awesome working. So, Without wasting any time - let's have a look at the features of Batch-Store.

The Batch Store is an Amazing 18 KBs of batch Program. Which Uses more than 50+ plugins to Display Such adorable output on the CMD Console in such a small amount of code. I've seen many batch programs, more than 300 KBs (text code), which can only show a little GUI on the console screen. But, due to no usage of any plugin - they can't take user-input via mouse. So, In a way - They were still CUI.

But, Not with the case of Our Batch-Store. You can Simply navigate through the whole store and its buttons, Via using your Mouse. And, Batch-Store also allows you to download batch plugins attached / related to the corresponding articles that you'll select from the store.

The Batch-Store is one of the unique Application in the History of Batch Programming. As, it includes not only the knowledge of Batch programming and various plugins. But it also includes the Knowledge of Online Data fetching, Working of blogger platform, And - Fetching Data through blog, RSS Feed And Knowledge of reading XML files.

So, The Batch-Store is a Hybrid Project. We've used all that knowledge to combine the data, and manipulated it using Batch & Its plugins. Only then, we'll be able to display such sexy output on the console screen. So, here's a list of the features of the Batch-store that I've just listed.

About Batch-Store

So, That's What - you'll be getting in this single Batch Project. Batch-Store is one of my Best Projects in Batch till date. It is the most dynamic and Modern GUI like project. Although, We have tested it for bugs. And fixed a lot of them. But, If you are still facing some problems in using this Program - Feel Free to comment below in the article.

Problem with Windows 10 CMD:

I may write a separate article for this problem. But, for the sake of telling in brief - I can say that the size of a character (in pixels) of CMD in Windows 10 & Windows 7 (or others) is drastically different. So, If you are setting window size - 120, 30 in CMD - then it will appear physically different in windows 7 & 10. So, You need to adjust your Content & design according to that.

You may also need to disable the 'Extended Text Selection Keys' & 'Enable Line wrapping selection' From the Console windows Properties dialog box. You can get this dialog box via right clicking on the title of CMD and Selecting Defaults.

Little Story of its Creation!

I'm really thankful to PaperTronics for suggesting the idea of the Batch-Store. As, they asked me about the feasibility of this kind of batch application. And, It seems feasible to me - Not statically, But dynamically. As, Now - whenever there will be a new article on the Blog. If You'll refresh the Batch-Store - The New Article will directly appear on your Console screen. So, Everything is real time in Batch-Store.

And, It took more than 6 months to just starting the coding process. Because, I was busy on my college schedule - And, we both were only talking on the mail. So, There was no result at all. After finishing my college. I decided to make the Batch-Store by my own. Because, Communication through the Email takes 1-2 days just to get reply of one conversation.

So, It seems possible to me. And, My brother [Namish Kashyap] helped me alot in motivating and providing the right design. He took time from his busy schedule - just to design the Batch-Store interface for me. And, Sounak has provided an important plugin which was needed to convert all the downloaded thumbnail into the readable BMP format. So, The InsertBMP plugin can do its job.
